The intended setup keeps your working home on your Mac. AI providers and connected services can still receive the context needed for a task. Background work will depend on your Mac being awake and connected.

Can I use it today?
Familiar is in development. There’s no public download or confirmed launch date yet. Join the launch-update list to hear when there’s something ready to try.
Is everything processed on my Mac?
No. The intended working home is on your Mac, but selected context can be sent to AI providers and connected services. We’ll publish the app’s specific data handling and permission details before public access.
Will it keep working while my Mac is asleep?
The planned Mac-based setup depends on your Mac being awake, connected, and able to run Familiar. We aren’t promising continuous background work when your Mac is unavailable.
What will it cost?
Pricing hasn’t been announced. Signing up for launch updates is free and doesn’t commit you to buying the app.
